Emerging from radio silence

Our last night at Bar Harbor was July 4, and we took the kids down to the Village Green for a town band concert (too cute -- young and old in the band, kids running everywhere) and then pedaled the bikes through the fog to the harbor where we witnessed a muted fireworks display (the fog was very thick). A late night for us all, we were hoping that would keep the kids asleep for the ride to Winnipesaukee the next day.
