Well, as expected, the visit to see Pattie and Ernie in Vermont was fantastic, totally comfortable for us and the kids. We will miss having them so close by!
H & M particularly enjoyed the time at the pool and the lake in Quechee. Here M shows her feelings about the pool.
Brooke and Chris were our next stop, but the trip was a little forbiddiing to take in one day. Graciously, Chris' parents in New York offered to put us all up as a midway point to Baltimore. They have a beautiful home we enjoyed visiting, including some resident deer, rabbits and a woodchuck! If you can see past the clowning (necessary for two long days of driving), the Hudson River Valley is just over our shoulder.
