Ahhh... January

December was fun, but a bit much for us. We had no big plans this weekend, so we slept in Saturday morning. The kids made breakfast for themselves.

Then we made it for them.

Saturday was the day for tree recycling. After 3 nights of subfreezing lows this week, we welcomed beautiful weather for the weekend. Given all of that, I convinced M it would be a good idea to take a bike ride to recycle our tree and a friend's.

So we loaded our tree and rode to Clint's house.

And then loaded Clint's tree. Then we rode to Home Depot.

When we got there, we were greeted with smiles and a photographer from the Savannah Morning News (no, I didn't call in advance). So this is the picture (above) and the article.
