Still how we roll, H, M and I went to get our tree by bike the day after Thanksgiving. We were riding down Washington when a car stopped, asking to take our picture. We happily obliged and they told us on the next block after parking that they wanted to give the photo to a sister who worked for the paper. Ok, I said, and gave them our names.
Savannah Morning News called the next Wednesday (Dec 3, Etta's birthday) to our house where my parents answered and gave them my cell. Etta was about 90 minutes old when they called me at the hospital, and so they included the news in the caption. I would guess more people found out about Etta that way than any other here in Savannah.
This also brings the Christmas tree on a bike concept full circle from the recycling photo in January. They will get tired of us soon I would guess.
