Well, we have had a great week, with lots of wonderful things happening and lots of wonderful visitors. Less wonderfully, H broke his arm today. He apparently was playing on a "high tower" at the playground, from which he plummeted and landed on his left arm.
He's a great patient, though, and bringing copies of his X-rays to class tomorrow for a little show and tell. The fracture is a bending of the cortex (the outer part of the bone) near the shoulder, incidentally a strange place to get this sort of a fracture, though not worrisome or troublesome in any real way.
He will wear the sling for (hopefully) 3 weeks, coming off around Christmas (though the ortho today acknowledged if he makes it 10 days with it, we will be doing well).
